docSHIFT Networking Night & Info Session in Toronto - March 22The first of several docSHIFT initiatives geared at facilitating new business opportunities and creative partnerships in Ontario for filmmakers and interactive digital media producers will take place on Monday, March 22 at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. The Networking Night & Info Session will run from 6 pm to 8 pm. docShift application details will be unveiled at the information session and attendees will discuss the possibilities of a new interactive documentary genre. The Networking Night & Info Session is free for DOC members and costs $10 at the door for non-members (includes entrance fee, a drink ticket and appetizers). RSVP at http://docshiftnetworkingnight.eventbrite.com docSHIFT CROSSOVER LAB will run from May 8-13th—the first of it’s kind in Canada. This five day immersive residential lab for selected participants will foster original ideas and prototypes for innovative cross-platform documentaries. Previous crossover labs worldwide have produced award-winning projects. Application details will be unveiled at the information session.
