About Hot Docs
Hot Docs is North America's largest documentary film festival. From April 29 to May 9, 2010 Hot Docs screened over 170 documentaries from more than 40 countries, bringing together hundreds of Canadian adn international filmmakers and industry delegates to Toronto. During Hot Docs, DOCspace provided ongoing news and events coverage and carried out interviews with a number of Canadian documentary directors including John Zaritsky - Leave Them Laughing, Alethea Arnaquq Baril - Inuit High Kick, Maya Gallus - Dish, Juan Baquero - Listen To This, Julian Pinder - Land, George Tsioutsioulas - The Story of Furious Pete as well as and Gisele Gordon (Canadian Spectrum programmer) and and prGisele Gordon (Canadian Spectrum) and the American director Nick Sherman- Soundtracker.
