Gemini Award winning filmmaker Rosie Dransfeld produces character-driven, cinema verite feature documentaries. In a body of work that includes more than 300 short films and numerous documentaries, the German-born producer searches for 'the truth behind the curtain', Here are some of the highlights: In 2008 she completed the feature length documentary THE DOGWALKER which won two AMPIA Awards for Best Documentary and Best Director. And her newest feature-length film, entitled BROKE. which won an AMPIA Award for best documentary also received the prestigious Donald Brittain Award for best social-political documentary. Her most recent work is a documentary for OMNI TelevisIon, entitled HOME MOVIES, which will be aired at the end of this year.
