I'm a professional writer / researcher - I have run a successful journalism and communications company for the past eight years (on the communications side, focused on social innovation and the non-profit sector) -- and I'm skilled in research, locating and pre-interviewing story subjects, and writing persuasive, compelling copy. I've also done a lot of writing for my own and other doc projects, from treatments and paper edits to a variety of documentary applications. I'm experienced with arts council submissions, ITVS, Sundance Doc Fund, the Ford Foundation, Shaw-Media Hot Docs fund, The Good Pitch, Gucci TFI, Gucci Tribecca, IDFA and Hot Docs Forum entries, and Cinereach, among others.
